St Joseph's Primary School Walgett


Catholic parents and carers or those who are prepared to support Catholic ideals and principles may have their children considered for enrolment at St Joseph’s School. Children must turn 5 years by 31st July in the year starting school. Those wishing to enrol their children into St Joseph’s can request an enrolment package from the school office.

Our enrolment procedures are outlined below:

  • Complete an Enrolment Application form and return it to the school office with copies of your child’s Birth, Baptism and Immunisation Certificates.
  • An interview with the School Principal will be organised. At this interview you will be invited to discuss why you would like to enrol your child at St Joseph’s and discuss your child’s educational needs. You are required to bring your child with you to the interview.
  • You will be sent a letter regarding your child’s application. If successful you will need to return the acceptance form as soon as possible to secure your child’s place at the school.
  • For children preparing to begin Kindergarten, they will be invited to attend the Kindergarten Transition Program.
