Our Mission and Vision

We, the community of St Joseph’s School Walgett, believe that:

“This is what Yahweh asks of us, only this, to act justly, love tenderly and to walk humbly with our God.” (Micah: 6.8)

Our Mission directs us to provide an excellent, well-rounded primary education founded on Catholic values and beliefs. These values are founded in the person of Jesus Christ that we “may have life, and have it to the full”.

Our Vision cultivates community and identity. It is achieved by fostering constructive relationships within the school and wider community, and by upholding a safe, cohesive, welcoming and nurturing learning environment for all.
